Everybody loves to romanticize fall like it’s straight out of a Hallmark movie. Picture-perfect leaves, plaid scarves, apple orchards, and a PSL in hand with a soft glow filter over everything. Cute, right? Except let’s be honest, that is not Coastal Georgia.

Here, fall looks a little different. It’s chili cook-offs at the church, and Bath & Body Works is running a candle sale that feels more dangerous than Black Friday at Walmart. It’s Operation Christmas Child boxes stacked taller than me, and Dollar-Tree-Chic craft nights where the glue gun burns are basically a badge of honor.
And yes, it’s also me showing up to meetings with day-four hair and dry shampoo, doing overtime, sipping on my PSL like it’s the fuel that’s gonna keep me upright. ✨ Because let’s be real, it takes a crew to get through Fall Girl Season.

Caregivers and advocates? You’re the quiet heroes making sure I can show up, sass intact, ready for whatever’s next. While the rest of the world is out here sipping cider, I’m raising my PSL to the ones who make independence possible every single day.
So yeah, my Fall Girl Season doesn’t look like a Pinterest board. It looks like community, chaos, coffee stains, and a whole lot of grace. It’s messy, it’s real, and it’s mine. And honestly? I wouldn’t trade it, not even for the perfect Instagram-worthy pumpkin patch. 🎃✨
