July is disability pride month. Pride, in the context of disability, is not about feeling superior or boasting about one's condition. Instead, it celebrates diversity and acceptance, promoting that individuals with disabilities have equal worth and should be treated with respect and dignity. Embracing disability pride fosters a sense of empowerment and encourages society to recognize the valuable contributions disabled individuals make to our communities. It recognizes and celebrates the achievements and contributions of individuals with disabilities. Disability Pride Month is an opportunity to promote inclusivity, raise awareness about disability rights, and foster a more inclusive society. It is essential to acknowledge that Disability Pride Month is about celebrating achievements, challenging societal norms, and advocating for equal opportunities.
My identity is established as a child of Christ. I'm chosen, not forsaken, and there's a place for me. This belief in my identity as a child of Christ gives me strength and purpose, guiding my actions toward spreading love, compassion, and acceptance to all individuals. By embracing the inclusivity and equality inherent in my faith, I strive to contribute to creating a society where everyone is valued and empowered to reach their full potential.
I see many of my peers in this community struggling with identity due to ableism. They may feel marginalized or excluded due to their disabilities, but it is crucial to remind them that societal norms or able-bodied standards do not define their worth and value. We must allow individuals to embrace their unique lives and find strength in their experiences, fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment within the community.
We shouldn't be shunned because of our differences. We are fully human beings, and we have lives worth living. Ensuring everyone's voice is heard and respected. Together, we can build a society that values the inherent worth of every individual. This is the strongest, most self-determined, and most self-sufficient community I have ever been proud to be a part of. I wish you knew them as well as I do. They have taught me the power of unity and the importance of embracing your true self. Each person brings a unique perspective and set of skills that contribute to the collective strength of our community. Through mutual support and understanding, we have created a safe space where everyone feels valued and empowered to be their authentic selves. It is incredible to witness the positive impact we can make when we come together as one. We have overcome every obstacle humanity has thrown at us. We have faced challenges head-on, finding innovative solutions and adapting to new circumstances. Our resilience and determination have proven that there is no limit to what we can achieve when we are united. Together, we continue to inspire and uplift each other, proving that our collective strength knows no bounds.
We don't need to be fixed. We are not broken or incomplete because of our disabilities. Our differences should be celebrated and respected, as they contribute to the rich diversity within our community. By challenging ableism and promoting inclusivity, we can create a society that recognizes and appreciates the inherent worth of every individual. We can unlock new possibilities and achieve greatness as a unified force by embracing our unique abilities and perspectives.
We must all invest in this community and create inclusive spaces and opportunities for individuals with disabilities to thrive. Together, we could ensure that everyone has the chance to reach their full potential and contribute their unique talents to society. We have come so far, but we can't do this alone. We need the support and collaboration of individuals, organizations, and government entities to make lasting change. By working together, we can implement policies that promote inclusivity and remove systemic barriers.
This is my battle call. Let us unite and strive for a future where equal opportunities are not just a dream but a reality. By advocating for equitable access to quality education, fair employment opportunities, affordable healthcare, and inclusive, full lives, we can create a society that values and empowers

everyone to thrive. Together, let's raise our voices and take action toward building a more inclusive and just world for all. I still believe in humanity; whether we agree or not, we will continue to perpetuate division and inequality if we don't unite. We must set aside our differences and prioritize the greater good, working together to have equitable opportunities and access to resources. Paving the way for a brighter, more harmonious world for generations by recognizing that diversity and inclusivity are strengths that can drive innovation and progress, let us unite to build a bigger table and create a future where everyone can thrive.
